| My wife and I have moved 23 times in our 33 years of marriage. My job as caused me to make many of these moves. As you know this is one of the most stressful times in a persons life. Dave Waraxa the home inspector for our most recent home purchase in Onalaska Wisconsin was the very first time I felt that the inspector was actually working for my best interest. I have most always thought that the inspections was a necessary evil when purchasing a home, not the case any longer. I will be more selective if I ever have a need again when purchasing a home. Dave not only did a very complete and through job he spent time covering each and every item he inspected. He covered the operation of the furnace, hot water air exchanger and all of the other mechanic's of the home. This is the very first time any inspector has taken time to help me understand not only what I should have the owners do prior to closing but what to do in the future with the home to prevent any further deterioration of concrete to siding. He supplied me with a inspection book and home repair and maintenance video. Dave is an inspector that I would not only hire again but encourage others to do the same. Thanks Dave for making Celeste and I feel really good about our purchase. | Dave's inspection fee was the best investment we made in the recent purchase of our new house. I found his service to go above and beyond the actual inspection. The assistance he provided my wife and me in researching "truss uplift" was invaluable. His willingness to conduct follow up radon tests may have prevented someone in my family from getting lung cancer. The radon mitigation measures that were installed in our house will only enhance its value. |
| "Dave went beyond telling me what was right/wrong with the house any inspector can do that, he also educated me on how to maintain my home, and kept in contact with me until everything on his inspection report was completed by the sellers to my satisfaction. Thanks Dave!" | |

We were out house shopping for over a year finding nothing that spoke out dramatically at us, such as "Buy me, buy me, buy me". We came along a foreclosure that needed much work but had huge potential. We decided to have it inspected to see if someone else saw the possibilities that we did. Just before the inspector arrived, we again looked at all the work that we needed to do on the house to make it livable, (that would be new everything). We then noticed a sinking in the center of the house. It was not that noticeable before. The more we looked at it the bigger the sinking seemed to be and looking around at all the other things that needed attending too, we started getting tired and negative to the idea of buying already. At the door was the inspector we hired, Inspector Dave, from the Coulee Region Inspection Service. We wanted to address that 'sinking feeling' right away. Inspector Dave had a very inexpensive antidote for that. Our spirits for the actually 'solid' house were lifted again and he went through the rest of the house with us. We bought the house with a construction loan and after only a few months, had it fixed up to more than just a livable state, it became our home in such a short time. We love the location, we love the community and we would not have been able financially to turn a property around like we did to something we wanted if not for this purchase. Thank you for your many suggestions and antidotes. Your wonderful knack of scrutiny to find the areas that needed the attention and how to find solutions came into place, and in just a few months we are not just happy campers, we are happy home owners! Thank you Inspector Dave! |
